For safety reasons, we highly recommend hibachi cooking to be done outdoors, as the cooking style involves open flames, high heat, and smoke. This  can pose a fire hazard if done within four enclosed walls. Indoor cooking may be allowed if the space has a 10-foot high ceiling and the area has good airflow.
