Welcoming babies and children up to 6 years, Little Stars Early Learning & Kindergarten Pakenham provides high quality care and play-based learning in an inclusive and nurturing environment. Qualified educators build meaningful relationships with children and families, to deliver tailored programs centred on the best of the Early Years Learning and Development Framework. In Victoria, 3 and 4-year-old children are able to access a funded Kindergarten program led by a Bachelor Qualified Teacher. If eligible, your child will be able to participate in the government-approved Kindergarten program, at no cost, up to a minimum of 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year. Our dedicated team of educators deliver play-based learning programs that foster a love of learning in a safe and welcoming environment.

While we understand that this can be inconvenient, Community Kids is committed to maintaining a healthy environment and reducing the risk of infection for all children. Under the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), families are allowed 42 absence days per child, per financial year. These can be taken for any reason, including public holidays and when children are sick, without requiring families to provide documentation. While we understand that this can be inconvenient, The Learning Sanctuary is committed to maintaining a healthy environment and reducing the risk of infection for all children. We also hold graduation ceremonies for our 3-year-old kinder children to celebrate their achievements during the year. We embed the ‘zones of regulation’ program into our curriculum to ensure all children can recognise and regulate their own emotions, as well as knowing how to support those around them. We also embed social skills into their everyday activities and call on the experts when early intervention is needed.
This journey takes place in the cosy environment of the historic buildings and playground, and is guided by a dedicated teaching staff, with both Australian and French Bilingual programs available. Our kindergarten offers engaging 3- and 4-year-old programs designed to spark learning through play. We offer families a strong involvement within our service with the opportunity to contribute to our daily practices.
